Dr Alif Moosajee is the author of the The Smiling Dentist, a book about general dentistry aimed at the general public. This clear, concise and jargon free book helps to inform patients how best to maintain their oral health and the treatment options available. All proceeds from the book are being donated to dental charity Bridge2aid, which helps the people in Tanzania and other African countries access the emergency dentistry they badly need and are otherwise unable to obtain. Alif graduated from Birmingham University in 2004 and worked as an associate in various practices in the West and east Midlands before taking over Oakdale Dental, a prestigious implant referral practice in Leicester.
