Thrilled and excited

Matt Everatt, the magazine’s editor-in-chief’, said: ‘Laboratory has been around for a long, long time. It’s coming back into print which is absolutely fantastic – it’s great news to my ears.

‘We are bringing together lots of people from the laboratory industry and bringing in a wealth of knowledge. Some great features are coming back to the magazine.

‘The editorial board is going to have lots of different experts from different areas of the UK laboratory industry.

‘Also, we’re going to be bringing in some internationals into that editorial board. So we are absolutely thrilled and excited, and I can’t wait to get this back out there.

‘Regarding my background and my experience, I have been writing articles for many, many years for different magazines. Laboratory has been one of them, including Dentistry as well with other FMC titles.

‘I am absolutely buzzing to be coming on board as the Laboratory editor-in-chief. It’s fantastic.

‘I feel pretty happy about this as you can imagine. It is absolutely fantastic news for dental technicians and for dental laboratories. We’ve got such an important place in the profession.

‘I think this will help to raise the profile of dental technicians and dental laboratories, and my job as editor-in-chief is to help raise that profile for dental technicians, bring in new writers, and raise the editorial and education aspect of dental technology.’
