Growing your business with clear aligner education

Gina Vega explains how general dental practitioners (GDPs) can develop their practice with clear aligner education.

Hi, I’m Dr Gina Vega, the director of Aligner Training and the creator of the Diamond Masterclass. Today, I’m going to tell you a little bit about how I’ve grown my Invisalign business as a GDP.

In 2016, I realised I was really enjoying doing Invisalign at the practice. So I decided I was going to grow the number of cases I was doing, and put my all into learning all there is to know about clear aligner therapy.

Year after year, I consistently achieved a higher Invisalign tier, and a few years later, I became a diamond provider. Now I have well over 1000 cases under my belt.

So how did I do it? My advice: never stop learning and growing. Learn the basics well, improve your clinical skills, and get to know in detail how the software works.

Perfecting your Invisalign consultations and speaking with honesty is the only way to start successful, long lasting relationships with your patients that, with time, will turn into great reviews and a good reputation.

Aligner courses

I attend several courses a year in the UK and Europe, learning from customer service to the latest technology. I modify the way that I do my Invisalign consultations as I see fit, and also adapt my treatment planning protocols as new features are introduced into the system.

Teamwork is essential for leading any successful business. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my team. So get your team involved, help them to grow with you.

As an associate, you can do this too. Come to my diamond master class where I will be sharing my experience, and my efficient workflows and protocols with you.
