The prestigious Dentistry Awards recognise progress, effort and excellence in dentistry. Shortlisted individuals and teams represent the highest standard of patient care in the UK.
Returning for 2023, the award ceremony will take place on Friday 17 November 2023 at The Athena in Leicester. Attendees can expect a glamorous night of celebration and a chance to connect with the UK dental sector’s best and brightest.
Winning or being shortlisted for an award can be hugely beneficial for both individuals and practices. New patients will be more likely to choose an award-winning practice, while existing patients love to be part of a thriving community. It’s also much easier to attract staff when you have been officially recognised as an exceptional practice.
Whatever your role in the dental team, there’s an award category for you. Read on to learn more about the available categories. If you or your team would like to be considered for an award, get your entries in by 15 September 2023.
Categories
The first step in entering the Dentistry Awards is to choose your categories. For 2023, the categories are:
- Patient Care
- Team Members – including nurses, hygienists, therapists, dental technicians, clinical dental technicians, practice managers and receptionists
- Young Dentist
- Dental Laboratory
- Website of the Year
- Sustainable Business Award
- Team of the Year
- Practice of the Year.
How to enter
Once you’ve decided which category or categories you will be entering, go to dentistry.co.uk/awards/the-dentistry-awards/ and click on ‘register now’. Add your details and select your categories. You will then receive an email saying that you are able to submit an entry.
After this, you can start preparing your entry. For each category, write 750 words explaining how you or your practice fulfils the criteria provided in the entry guide. Remember to leave enough time to complete this stage – make sure you’ve addresses all of the criteria, even if you’re not as strong on some of them.
To submit your completed entry, click ‘enter now’, fill out the online form and upload your entry. This is now the only way to submit.
