Gina Vega describes how she has developed her skills with Invisalign and explains how she is helping other dentists do the same.
What I call my journey with Invisalign started by chance when I took over Bishopsgate Dental Care in 2010. The previous owner literally disappeared overnight, leaving about 20 Invisalign patients in the middle of their treatment.
I have to confess that, at that point, I had no clue what Invisalign was. I had no choice but to get certified as an Invisalign provider as soon as possible and finish these cases.
Now, I cannot believe how lucky I was. I love doing orthodontics with clear aligners and cannot see myself practicing cosmetic dentistry in any other way.
I firmly believe that the basis of good cosmetic dentistry relies on the position of the teeth. This is because we are generally using natural healthy teeth and placing them in a more harmonic beautiful position.
‘Efficient workflows’ for Invisalign
I am a very experienced Invisalign Diamond provider, having successfully treated over 1000 cases. Year after year, I have grown the number of cases I treat and developed experience in treating very complex cases.
Over the years, I have developed efficient workflows and protocols that have allowed me to see between 150-200 alignment patients a year as a GDP.
I am also a speaker and faculty member for Align Technology. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to attend many conferences and growth summits, as well as many clear aligner courses in Europe, expanding my knowledge in the subject.
I want to share my experience with all those providers looking to advance in their Invisalign journey and acquire the right skills.
I created my Diamond Masterclass thinking of all those who lack confidence in any aspect of providing Invisalign to their patients. It is for dentists with some or little experience, looking to grow their number of cases per year.
