There are more questions than answers according to Johnny Nash’s 1972 top 10 hit. However, Practice Plan’s Dental Business Theatre at this year’s British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show hopes to provide at least some answers to a few of dentistry’s biggest questions with its programme.
As Practice Plan’s creative director, Les Jones, explains in this video, some of the best-known names in dentistry will form the panels for each of six sessions at the NEC on 12 and 13 May.
Instead of just highlighting the issues facing dental practices at the moment, key industry leaders such as Len D’Cruz, Shawn Charlwood and Practice Plan’s Nigel Jones aim to offer answers to the big questions such as ‘Is there a future for NHS dentistry?’
UNW’s Mike Blenkharn will be joined by Chris Barrow, Ashley Latter and Lisa Bainham to tackle the thorny subject of ‘how can my practice beat the cost of living crisis?’
Mental health and wellbeing are also hot topics for dental teams right now and so dentist and co-owner of Psynergy Mental Health, Ritesh Aggarwal and Mahrukh Khwaja, founder of Mind Ninja, will address the problem of how to keep mentally fit.
There’ll also be sessions on how to keep a motivated team and how to make a successful move from NHS to private practice too.
Finally, founding director of Diamond Dental Staff, Emma Anastasi, CSR coach, Mark Topley, and dental business consultants Chris Barrow and Lucie Simic will tackle arguably the biggest question for dental teams at the moment: how can I keep my best staff and attract new recruits?
This is a must-see session for anyone with vacancies to fill.
