The UK missed out on a spot in the top 10 list of European countries for dental hygiene, a new study revealed. Of the almost 30 European countries investigated, Norway was the most conscious, Luxembourg second and Germany took third.
Lords debate use of ‘unethical’ dental X-rays on undocumented migrants
The House of Lords debated the use of dental X-rays to determine the age of migrants, arguing the process is ‘unethical’. The debate followed amendments put forward that look to control the use of dental age checks for undocumented migrants.
NHS complaints – 50% increase in concerns over hygiene among dentists and GPs
Hundreds of patients have filed complaints over hygiene in dental and GP practices. Data shows more than 300 complaints were submitted during the first year of Covid-19, with around two thirds concerning hand washing.
