On Demand: COVID-19 – another virus for us to work with in dentistry

Aims and Objectives:

To provide information relative to dental infection control post-COVID lockdown
Look at the impact COVID will have on PPE usage working in dental practices
Discuss issues concerning dental professionals in our dental world.

Learning Outcomes:

Update dental professionals on changes required to safely practice with the dental surgery
Identify the different levels of PPE to be implemented depending on patient treatment and COVID status
Improved the knowledge of the attendee to enable them to disseminate information to their dental team to reduce anxiety and fear.

Speaker: Michelle Meredith

Michelle is a registered and qualified dental nurse, a member of IPS (Infection Prevention Society) with skills in management, leadership and mentorship. She holds the Licentiateship in dental nursing (LCGI). She was instrumental in working with local CDS and GDP implementing HTM 01-05. Training and education is at the heart of her consultancy and has spoken up and down the country at conferences whilst visiting practices to assist them on compliance with Infection Control.
