Pete Gibbons Aka DeconPete has worked with the UK guidance documents relating to Infection prevention and control for the past 14 years. The general outcomes of the training session are to understand the basics of the document in terms of ‘Essential Requirement’ and ‘Best Practice’. The latest regulations can be interpreted in many different ways and understanding what should be done can be very misleading. The aim is to also look at associated pathogens risks and the emergence of new variants, Including COVID-19, and relate those to how we work safely.
