Alkisti graduated from Cardiff University in 2010. Since then, she has led a diverse career in an effort to grow her skills and to be able to offer a variety of treatments to best care for her patients, including general dentistry. She worked in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department at the Royal Cornwall Hospital where she was introduced to aspects of general medicine, facial reconstruction and complex tooth removal. She taught students at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and even joined a group of doctors on a research expedition to southern and eastern Africa. In 2015 she became a member of the Royal College of Surgeon’s Joint Dental Faculties and since then, her commitment to her patients has led her to take numerous courses in order to build on her already existing skills.
