This webinar sims to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of CBCT technology in the context of digital dentistry.

Lee Feinberg will emphasise the importance of CBCT by offering insights into its principles and functionality in enhancing patient treatment outcomes.

He will also showcase real-life case studies that demonstrate the mastery and successful application of CBCT in various dental scenarios.

Learning outcomes

  • To educate on CBCT technology: provide in-depth insights into the principles and functionalities of CBCT, ensuring participants grasp the technology's foundations
  • To highlight CBCT's role in patient treatment: Emphasise the importance of CBCT in patient treatment by elucidating how it enhances diagnostic accuracy, treatment planning and overall patient care
  • To illustrate a variety of case studies to exemplify successful applications of CBCT in different dental scenarios, showcasing its versatility and effectiveness.

Speaker: Dr Lee Feinberg

Lee is specialist in dental and maxillofacial radiology and works as a consultant dental and maxillofacial radiologist at Kings College Hospital, London and at the Eastman Dental Hospital, University College London Hospitals. He is currently the honorary secretary of the British Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology.

He graduated as a dentist from the University of Bristol.  Prior to commencing specialist training he worked in both dental practice and the hospital setting. He gained experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine and oral pathology. He completed his specialist training in Liverpool being trained by both dental and maxillofacial and ENT/head and neck radiologists. He has clinical experience reporting radiographs, CBCT, CT and MRI examinations. He performs specialist salivary gland imaging, diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided biopsies of the head and neck region.

He is passionate about education and holds a formal qualification in learning and teaching in higher education. He lectures regularly to postgraduate dental professionals. He is an honorary senior clinical lecturer at King's College London where he is actively involved in undergraduate teaching in dental radiology.
