Stars align in Birmingham with ClearCorrect

Stars of dentistry and orthodontics will align in Birmingham this summer as ClearCorrect announces a packed speaker line-up for its second annual education event.

Elevating ClearCorrect Excellence 2024 brings together an inspirational group of speakers discussing the clinical and business growth aspects of an industry estimated to be worth £4.4 billion globally.

Growth for all

The event is part of ClearCorrect’s commitment to ongoing education for providers. But that shouldn’t stop users of all clear aligner systems at any skill level from getting involved.

‘Last year’s attendees were a vibrant mix of ClearCorrect and providers of other clear aligner brands, and feedback showed that networking in a relaxed, informal and fun space made Elevating Excellence an invaluable learning and growth experience,’ said Caroline Cross, marketing manager for ClearCorrect UK.

‘This is also reflected in our speaker line-up,’ Caroline added. ‘It contains a breadth of clinical and business expertise curated to inspire clear aligner providers across the board.’

Personal, clinical and business insight

Kicking off at Millennium Point, Birmingham, on Friday, June 14, is {my}dentist GDP, Neil Simkin. Neil will tell the story of his transformation from clear aligner treatment planning service sceptic to fierce advocate.

Since opening his Mid-Wales practice in 2005, Neil has guided almost 1,000 dentists to start with clear aligner provision. Despite initial scepticism about digital tools, he helps dentists get started with ClearForward and ClearPilot case planning and optimisation services.

‘I’m incredibly excited to share my story,’ Neil said. ‘Although it’s been a very personal journey, there are valuable lessons everyone can learn from and action to elevate their clear aligner practice. I can’t wait to share!’

Also discussing aspects of digital planning are ClearCorrect opinion leader Andrea Bazzucchi and Durham-based GDP Ruairi Leonard.

Andrea explores how clear aligner planning can pave the way for a more predictable, minimally invasive approach to multidisciplinary cases. Ruairi Leonard examines how advanced ClearPilot features can be used to gain improved clinical outcomes with reduced IPR.

Ruairi and Andrea are joined by ClearCorrect veteran Sami Butt, with insight into the benefits of a function-over-aesthetics mindset. Also Radha Buttar, sharing experience on how providers can better serve the UK’s growing number of older patients.

Building on success

‘Feedback from last year’s event confirmed that the combination of clinical skills and business development insight on offer was key to last year’s success,’ said Caroline.

‘We’re keen to repeat and build upon that success with more thought-provoking talks and actionable inspiration for practice growth on June 14.’

In ‘Breaking barriers: ClearCorrect integration for the evolving dentist’, Sean Roberts will unveil strategies for growing patient bases through clear aligner provision. Marketing scientist Prav Solanki is to share his formula for boosting case acceptance with the ultimate clear aligner consultation.

‘Elevating Excellence 2023 was the highlight of a packed events calendar last year. I’ve spoken to many attendees who’ve put the insight from me and other speakers into achieving impressive personal, clinical and business growth over the past year,’ Prav said.

‘I’m thrilled to return in 2024. I’m looking forward to catching up on many more growth stories from the past year. And, seeing how attendees will use Elevating Excellence as an engine for growth in the year ahead.’

Discover, elevate, aspire

Elevating Excellence 2024 is part of a commitment to ongoing education. It has seen ClearCorrect roll out a series of resources to help providers advance their clear aligner treatment planning skills. In addition, to enhance their understanding of advanced orthodontic treatment and build a thriving practice.

ClearCorrect offers a dedicated training pathway from simple to advanced concepts through its Ortho Campus online training portal. Additionally, its dedicated one-to-one clinical and business growth mentoring.

‘It’s exciting to witness a highly engaged community of new and experienced dentists growing around our ecosphere of resources and training,’ Caroline said.

‘Despite only being in its second year, Elevating Excellence already has a well-loved place in our ongoing education strategy for supporting dentists to improve clear aligner confidence and skills. We’re looking forward to seeing what 2024 and the years ahead bring!’
