In this episode of Dentistry Cribs, George Cheetham shows off his 18-month-old squat clinic, Fulham Road Dental.
Fulham Road Dental was built by co-owners George Cheetham and Mark Brown.
The award-winning boutique dental practice is situated in the heart of Fulham, London. It was built on the principle that patients deserve an exceptional patient experience with the highest level of dental care.
‘We wanted to make sure that the reception area was really nice and open because a lot of times when patients are coming in, they feel a bit stressed,’ George said.
‘You don’t want them sitting on top of each other. So instead of packing more surgeries into the clinic, we made this area nice and spacious for everyone to sit.’

The best tech
‘We wanted to incorporate some of the best technologies in in our practice,’ George said.
He showed off some the technology used in his practice, including CT scanners which he says make the treatment process quick and easy.
‘We like involving the best tech for our patients. We’re using digital scanning, our hygienists and therapists love the EMS machine for better cleans.’
Aside from the technology used during treatment, Fulham Road Dental is also kitted out with other technology to make the patient experience more enjoyable.
He showed off one of his favourite rooms: the bathroom. ‘We made sure to put Sonos in the ceilings here. So when you are at your time of peace, we can just hit the volume button, turn it up, and have a nice time,’ he said.
In addition, his surgeries have TVs on the ceilings. ‘Patients can hop on [the dental chair], earphones on, relax, have a clean, and just watch your favourite show.’
