We’re kick starting a new Dentistry Cribs series with Beyond Dental in Leamington Spa with practice principal, Gareth McAleer.
Beyond Dental only opened recently in 2015, bringing together Gareth’s 20 years of experience working in other practices.
The team promises to offer a relaxed, comfortable and convenient a trip to the dentist.
‘There’s curved walls around the practice,’ Gareth explains.
‘The special wallpaper we had made in the United States because we couldn’t find anything over here in the UK.
‘Part of the design was to think about the music levels in the practice. Specifically how the music is played and what music tracks are selected.’
Beyond Dental
Bright windows give natural light in the waiting area and curved walls offer an inviting flow throughout the practice.
What’s particularly unique about Beyond Dental is the private brushing station opposite the surgeries.
The dedicated Brush Stops offer complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste so patients can brush up before they see the dentist.
‘Most patients don’t know how to brush their teeth properly,’ Gareth continues.
‘We feel prevention is an essential part of the practice and the core of the business. So, we designed this area, which otherwise would have been dead space.
‘It’s a very effective area for teaching the patients and demonstrating to patients the most effective type of oral hygiene.’
