Resin-bonded bridgework: a practical guide
The webinar will consist entirely of clinical case examples. These will provide a practical update on all aspects of resin-bonded bridgework.
By the end of this lecture, delegates will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of resin-bonded bridges (RBBs) in the following subject areas:
- Aetiology and prevalence of missing teeth
- Minimally invasive management options for missing teeth
- Case selection for RBBs
- Material options (metal-ceramic/composite and all-ceramic RBBs)
- Preparation design
- Impression techniques and temporisation
- RBB maintenance.

Louis Mackenzie is the head dental officer at Denplan. He has been a GDP in Birmingham for 30 years and is a clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham School of dentistry and King’s College London.
Louis delivers postgraduate lectures nationally and internationally on direct and indirect restorative techniques and minimally invasive dentistry. He runs a series of popular hands-on courses.
He is a member of Dental Update’s editorial board and is the academic lead of Birmingham University’s MSc in restorative dentistry.
