Andrea McLean has undergone orthodontic treatment, which she unveiled live on Loose Women.
The TV presenter told the Loose Women panel: ‘I’ve had braces.
‘I was supposed to have them when I was a teenager.
I had acne, a perm – I was not going to add braces.’
Keeping it in the family
Andrea joins her teenage son in sporting the corrective dental wear.
‘My 14 year old son just had them done,’she explained.
‘I was saying “you’re so brave”, and I thought “you’re such a hypocrite because you never did it”. So I did it! And we’re brace-face together!’
After giving her braces their debut on Loose Women this afternoon, Andrea tweeted a photo of herself and her son.
She captioned the photo: ‘Thank you for all your kind comments about my braces today on @loosewomen.
‘Fin and I are now Brace Faces together!’
Other famous faces who have sported braces in the past include Tom Cruise, Gwen Stefani, Jermaine Jackson, Estelle and Danny Glover.
