No more ‘grin and bear it’: celebrating perimenopausal colleagues

It's time to normalise and validate the experience of perimenopause – from the physical to the emotional and cognitive symptoms.

This webinar will shift the narrative from seeing perimenopausal colleagues as a problem to valuing the presence, skills and service they deliver.

It will also give context of how attitudes to menstrual and menopause health have changed over time and empower open conversations about perimenopause in the workplace.

Learning outcomes

  • Describe common physical, emotional and cognitive symptoms of perimenopause and how they can show up at work
  • Recognise the scale of perimenopause in UK workforce and that there is no ‘normal’ experience
  • Reframe traits often misread as negative as valuable skills to business
  • Identify the experiences and qualities perimenopausal colleagues bring to patients and teams and what it would cost to lose them
  • Feel confident to start a conversation about perimenopause at work.
