David is a retired technician with over 30 years' experience running Phoenix Dental Castings in Exeter. He is an honorary lecturer at Peninsula Dental School in dental technology. He has been a General Dental Council member and has been awarded the lifetime achievement in dental technology award from the Dental Laboratory Awards. He was chairman of the DLA and president of the FEPPD, the European Federation of Dental Laboratories. Currently he works on government projects, teaches students and enjoys the fresh country air.
