Nigel Jones announces the line up at this year’s Dental Business Theatre and encourages you to come along.
Once again, Practice Plan will programme the Dental Business Theatre (DBT) at the British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on 13 and 14 May.
In this short video, Nigel Jones, Practice Plan’s sales and marketing director, explains the theme for this year’s sessions in the DBT is ‘dentistry’s hottest topics’. One of the key sessions focuses on ‘Is there a future for NHS dentistry?’.
The BDA’s Eddie Crouch and Len D’Cruz will join Nigel Jones. As will practice owners, Simon Thackeray and Chris Groombridge. They will examine the current activity targets in England. They’ll explore how achievable they are and what they might mean in terms of clawback.
The panellists will also discuss the future of contract reform and what it might look like.
Other hot topics
Practice Plan will also address some of the other key ‘hot topics’ affecting dentistry. Such as how to future-proof your practice, especially against the background of dentistry’s recruitment crisis.
The current staff retention crisis and the difficulties practices are experiencing in retaining valuable team members has its own session. As does the changing landscape of practice ownership.
Rounding off the DBT line-up each day is Ritesh Aggarwal from Psynergy Mental Health. Along with Mind Ninja’s Mahrukh Khwaja. They’ll cover sessions on arguably, the most important hot topic – the mental health crisis in dentistry.
There’ll be opportunities for a Q&A at the end of each session. So there’s ample chance to share your views too.
Events in the DBT kick off at 10.00 am on both days. Each session offers verifiable CPD.
In addition, you can find Practice Plan’s stand and fizz bar at H60. So feel free to come and say hello.
