Chairsyde announces exciting partnership with BACD
The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) is partnering with the interactive consultation platform, Chairsyde.
It hopes this will empower its members with exciting new technology that can help them deliver visual cosmetic consultations to patients both virtually and in-chair.
The partnership offers BACD members a 20% discount on the practice pro or associate pro licence. As well as a members-only website area.
The pandemic has seen a boom in cosmetic dentistry procedures. According to the British Beauty Council, one in 10 people have had a treatment such as veneers, bonding or teeth-whitening in the last year*.
This partnership is an exciting opportunity for cosmetic dentists to benefit from increased demand. It gives a patient journey platform that offers both online and face-to-face appointment options,
treatment presentations and dentolegal protection.
Through this partnership, the BACD has demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and delivering the latest treatment solutions.
For Chairsyde, this is an opportunity to create bespoke presentations focusing on cosmetic dentistry with collaborative expertise from BACD members. Something that founder, Loven Ganeswaran, has been looking forward to for some time.
‘Cosmetic dentistry is becoming more popular as patients seize the opportunity to recover at home,’ Loven says. ‘We’re so excited to help BACD members reach more patients virtually and create exceptional patient experiences.’
Chairsyde also recently partnered with Dental Protection, aiming to reduce stress and mitigate risk using unique and interactive smart tracking technology, which will also benefit BACD members.
These partnerships are helping to integrate Chairsyde into the dental community. They are just one part of the exciting plans the organisation has for the year ahead. As Loven describes: ‘These partnerships help us to build a community where we can listen to our dentists and continue to develop our platform. This benefits dentists and patients long into the future.’
He continues: ‘We’re so pleased to be partnering with the BACD, an organisation we admire for its commitment to clinical excellence in cosmetic dentistry.
‘We’re excited about collaborating on cosmetic content for BACD members. We can’t wait to see the benefits Chairsyde can bring to its members. As well as showing how it can improve the patient journey for so many people undertaking cosmetic dental treatments.’
The BACD says: ‘This partnership is an exciting opportunity to consider the future of the patient journey. It also allows us to offer our members the chance to engage and educate patients safely using fantastic technology.’
