Jonathan Watson discusses the impact of COVID-19 on the dental practice market – and why he thinks there’s been a spike in interest.
In this week’s podcast episode, we chat to Jonathan Watson, a director at commercial real estate company, Christie & Co.
We talk about whether COVID-19 changed the value of a practice and how he’s seen a growing interest in the market.
‘You’ve got to remember dentistry is very robust,’ he says.
‘It’s not a volatile industry, it’s very secure. We can’t forget that. That said, banks will be choosey and will want extra securities. They’ll want experience usually, but they will lend to first-time buyers. But it’s knowing the right lenders and the right people at the banks to get the deals through.’
