The UK’s largest dental care provider mydentist has recently undertaken a significant merge, relocation and expansion of its Walsall practice following a substantial investment of £1.4 million.
The new mydentist Walsall practice, which is now located on 2 Digbeth, St Matthew’s Quarter, was officially launched by practice manager Conor Batty and his team on Thursday 3 April 2025.
The practice team were joined by a special guest appearance from local celebrity and Married at First Sight star Sacha Jones, who is a patient at the practice and resident of Walsall. Kickstarting the celebrations, Sacha joined practice manager Conor Batty in cutting the ribbon to officially open the practice.
After a project lasting just over two years, all the dentists and staff from the previous Walsall site on 1-4 Arcade Balcony have moved to the new site on Philip Murray Road, where patient appointments are now underway.
The move marks a substantial enhancement for the circa 8,000 patients of mydentist in the community of Walsall, who will now benefit from a modern, state-of-the-art practice, a greater range of dental treatments and technology, as well as improved travel links and wheelchair and disabled access.
More choice, improved facilities
There are nine surgeries available in total at the new mydentist Walsall practice, with key services offered to its patients. These include NHS dental care, affordable private treatment options via the mydentist myoptions service, hygiene, and cosmetic services such as whitening, teeth straightening and mydentist smile makeover.
Baljinder Kaur, mydentist area development manager, commented: ‘We’ve been working very hard to relocate to a more accessible site in Walsall, so to see the new practice finally open is fantastic, and it was great to be joined by Sacha Jones for the official ribbon cutting.

The new mydentist Walsall practice is accepting new patients under myoptions mydentist’s affordable private dental offering. Under myoptions, patients can access private check-ups, essential dental treatments, and cosmetic dental treatments at affordable prices with check ups costing £59.
A full range of dental treatments is on offer at the practice including teeth whitening, teeth straightening, hygiene appointments, smile makeovers and dental implants.
