Solventum, the company formerly known as 3M Health Care, has launched its new 3M Clarity aligners to the dental professional market.
The new aligners were unveiled at an immersive event held at London gallery and immersive art experience Frameless. Guests were treated to a full overview of the new system as well as sessions on mindfulness, designed to help delegates achieve the clarity in their personal lives that the aligners are meant to bring their businesses.
The event also revealed Solventum’s Eco-Flex initiative, a scheme designed to help practices tackle the thorny issue of plastic waste. Eco-Flex allows practices to reduce waste through flexible shipments, sending only the required aligners as and when practices need them.
Unveiling 3M Clarity aligners
Solventum has high hopes for the new 3M Clarity aligner system, promising that it will live up to its name by streamlining practitioners’ lives.
3M Clarity aligners are a customised orthodontic system that link aligner, restorative treatment and retention. Made from an innovative, proprietary ‘multi-flex’ material, the system will allow practitioners to deliver a beautiful smile to patients easily and effectively.
Alongside the aligners themselves, attendees saw a preview of 3M Clarity Precision Grip Attachments. These will be exclusively available with Clarity Aligners. These state-of-the-art, 3D-printed and fully-cured composite attachments enable flash-less bonding and durable performance throughout treatment.
New mission, old heritage
The event was also a chance for Solventum to formally connect with UK dental audiences in its new incarnation.
