Align Technology introduces its new docuseries, The Art of Orthodontics, delivering education around Invisalign clear aligner treatment in an exciting new format.
The Art of Orthodontics, Align Technology’s new scientific symposium docuseries, is set to guide audiences through the very latest academic research. It will also spotlight the stories behind the success of the most complex orthodontics cases.
The series was filmed in the Palacio de la Prensa in Madrid. Each of the three episodes in the series features specialist orthodontists presenting their own scientific papers and patient case studies. This will foster discussion and debate about the development of orthodontics. Also, the role of Invisalign clear aligner treatment, now and in the future.
Episodes
Each of the three episodes will be live screened and will then be available on demand for 12 months:
Episode one: Orthodontic artillery for complex clear aligner treatments
Demonstrating adjunct solutions to clear aligners which could improve outcomes for complex cases. Speakers include Dr Alessandro Greco and Dr Roberta Lione.
Episode two: Establishing the new paradigm for growing patients and clear aligners
Demonstrating with evidence and/or clinical cases the efficacy of clear aligners for interceptive, growth modification and complex cases. Speakers in this episode include Dr Sinem Ceylanoglu and Dr Teresa Pinho.
Episode three: Expert Panel: the discussion
A group panel debate to dissect episode one and two’s topics to offering the audience different perspectives and possible approaches for the future. This episode brings together speakers from the previous two episodes. Plus, Professor Maria Orellana, Dr Mitra Derakhshan, senior vice president global clinical at Align Technology and Lee Taylor, vice president marketing Americas and EMEA, will then discuss topics related to trends into digitisation of dental profession and the future of orthodontics.
The highly engaging new format docuseries is hosted by Dr Farooq Ahmed, a consultant orthodontist working at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London. Alongside his work in clinic and teaching, he is also known for his popular Orthodontics in Summary podcasts.
Commenting on the new series Dr Ahmed said: ‘The Art of Orthodontics docuseries is both immersive and engrossing. It allows for free-thinking discussion, alongside probing questions about complex treatments, and how clear aligners can aid the orthodontist’s work, while encouraging practitioners to keep abreast of the ever-evolving, evidence-based science.’
Registrations to access The Art of Orthodontics docuseries on demand remain open until midnight, 14 December. Following the live screening, episodes will be available to registrants for 12 months.
