The esteemed Private Dentistry Awards are returning this year to celebrate outstanding dentistry carried out by teams and individuals.
Chaired by Dr David Houston, this glamorous black-tie ceremony is one of the most prestigious dental events in the industry.
This year’s Private Dentistry Awards will be taking place on Friday 1 December 2023 at Grosvenor House, London.
Last year’s ceremony had a record-breaking turnout, and this year is expected to be bigger and better than ever.
Winning at the Private Dentistry Awards, or even being nominated, can have huge benefits for you or your practice. Patients are more likely to choose a practice or professional that has been officially recognised as providing high-quality care. The awards also offer vital exposure and are also great for team morale.
‘A great honour’
Chirag Patel won Best Young Dentist at last year’s ceremony. He said: ‘It’s a great honour to be recognised for my hard work and dedication at the Private Dentistry Awards.
‘Especially when you consider the credentials of the judging panel, and the quality of the other candidates (including my younger brother!). They are representing some of the best private clinics in the country.
‘On a personal level, the networking has been helpful in getting my career in private dentistry started. It also showed me what can be achieved when you strive for clinical excellence.’
He added: ‘There are so many inspirational clinicians out there to learn from and emulate. From a marketing perspective, the accolade has certainly helped to bring in more clients wishing to learn about oral health and what can be done to improve their smiles.

How to enter
Once you’ve chosen which category or categories you will be entering, go to dentistry.co.uk/awards/private-dentistry-awards and click on ‘register now’. Add your details and select your categories. You will then receive an email saying that you are able to submit an entry.
After this, you can start preparing your entry. For each category, write 750 words explaining how you or your practice fulfils the criteria provided in the entry guide. Remember to leave enough time to complete this stage – make sure you’ve addresses all of the criteria, even if you’re not as strong on some of them.
To submit your completed entry, click ‘enter now’, fill out the online form and upload your entry. This is now the only way to submit.
