Dentistry’s Top 50 gathered this June to celebrate their achievements – watch the video to get in on the action.
On 22 June 2023, FMC invited its recently announced Top 50 to gather and celebrate each other’s success at a glamorous summer soirée. A striking London skyline formed a fitting backdrop while attendees enjoyed drinks, canapés and the chance to strengthen connections with others in the dentistry community.
Dentistry’s Top 50 is a list of 50 dental professionals chosen annually by FMC. The list represents the most influential and innovative change makers in UK dentistry. The event recognised their achievement in being chosen for the Top 50 but it also celebrated the UK dental profession at large.
Ken Finlayson, chairman of FMC, appreciated the rare opportunity to do so: ‘The world is full of challenges and problems and hassling. So it’s great, every now and again, to take time out to celebrate our successes. You have all worked tirelessly to help your patients and your colleagues benefit more from dentistry than, we think, anybody else.’
DD and American Express were sponsors of Dentistry’s Top 50. Delegates from these organisations attended the event and showed their support.

Speaking at the event, Luke Fleetwood from DD said: ‘Huge congratulations to each and every individual that’s reached the Top 50. They also touched on the range of professionals chosen for the Top 50.
