The rockstars of UK dentistry are coming together for a digital tour of live-streamed dental surgeries and procedures – all broadcast from The Campbell Academy.

This is only available to silver and gold members of Dentistry Club – find out more about how you can join us for 10 incredible Dentistry Live broadcasts this year at www.dentistry.co.uk/live.

Each Dentistry Live broadcast includes a chance to query the clinician at the end of the procedure and includes a verified CPD Certificate.

Camilla Morrison is next to take to the stage of this digital tour on 25 May with part one of ‘Invisalign Orthodontics’ at 7pm.

Following the patient’s journey

Camilla’s Dentistry Live course will explore the use of composite attachments and pre-planned proximal reduction.

Part one of the course will start with a patient’s journey with Invisalign. She will be checking-in on the patient in part two in December.

‘In this case, we plan to employ composite attachments as part of our orthodontic strategy,’ Camilla said. ‘These small resin structures, adhered to the teeth, will enhance our control of tooth movements.

‘Particularly useful for complex adjustments such as rotation and tipping, these attachments will provide the necessary grip for the aligners, enabling more predictable treatment outcomes.

‘To complement this, interproximal reduction (IPR) will be applied to manage dental crowding and create optimal space for alignment. By carefully removing small amounts of enamel from between the teeth, we can gain room to manoeuvre teeth into more favourable positions.

‘This method allows us to maintain the integrity of the arch form and the health of the periodontal tissues, while still achieving satisfactory orthodontic results.’

Camilla’s live-streamed event will have a Q&A session at the end of the broadcast, and each attendee will receive an hour of verified CPD.

Even if you can’t make the live event, it’s important that you sign up. The Dentistry team will then send you a link to watch it on demand after the event so you don’t miss out.
