The optimal density of the coating allows the diamond grains to penetrate deeper into the enamel without leaving behind a flat deposit of blunt diamonds.
Even after many uses, the diamonds can still penetrate into the enamel and remove substance. This is because they make use of the perfect concentration of force created by the distance between grains.
Lab tests have shown that on average, the instruments remove 34% more substance until the wear limit is reached.
