Myth: I am worried I will have to do this on my own

Jayne Gibson explains how Practice Plan will support dentists and practices through the process converting from NHS to private dentistry.

One concern that some dentists have when they consider a move from the NHS to private dentistry is that they will have go through a conversion on their own. However, at Practice Plan that isn’t the case.

When a practice gets in touch with us to enquire about exploring the possibility of going private, we hold their hand. Right from the minute the initial contact is made, to well beyond when the conversion is complete.

Each dentist will have their very own dedicated regional support manager (RSM). They are by the dentist’s side every step of the way. Helping them in key decisions and assisting with all aspects of a conversion from NHS to private.

In addition to your RSM, support is available from our team at Practice Plan head office. This includes the marketing and the business support team.

What’s more, if you’d like some reassurance that you’re in the right place, we have a number of dentists who have previously made the move. They are more than happy to talk you through their journey. As well as explain why they feel it was the best move they ever made.
