The webinar will provide information relative to dental infection control post COVID-19 lockdown. Michelle will also look at the impact COVID-19 will have on PPE usage working in dental practices. She will then discuss issues concerning dental professionals in our dental world.
Aims and objectives also include:
- Update dental professionals on changes required to safely practice within the dental surgery
- Identify the different levels of PPE to be implemented depending on patient treatment and COVID-19 status
- Improve the knowledge of the attendee to enable them to disseminate information to their dental team to reduce anxiety and fear.
About Michelle Meredith
Michelle is a registered and qualified dental nurse. She is also a member of IPS (Infection Prevention Society) with skills in management, leadership and mentorship.
Michelle holds the licentiateship in dental nursing (LCGI). She was instrumental in working with local CDS and GDP implementing HTM 01-05. Training and education is at the heart of her consultancy. Michelle has consequently spoken up and down the country at conferences, whilst visiting practices to assist them on compliance with infection control.
