Every management course I have been on has focused on communication and its importance.
An adjunct to communication is being succinct.
Being succinct gives time to do other things. For example: I have five internal meetings today. I can relax and they can take five hours total with coffee and biscuits, or put colleagues on the clock and get all five completed in two hours.
Communication is crucial and waffle is wasteful.
