The best speakers in the industry – all in one place!
The next destination for the Business of Dentistry event’s Practice Management Conference is Reading on the 27 June and once again it’s a line-up of top industry speakers. The conference is dedicated to developing the skills of practice management teams and will leave you and your team buzzing with ideas.
Kevin Lewis will be kicking off the event with his presentation on team strategies for managing risk. His talk entitled ‘Safer together’ outlines the essential ingredients for ensuring that everyone plays their part in protecting the business, covering many important issues including risk management and patient safety. Kevin is one of the leading experts in this field and also the dental director of Dental Protection. As he will explain, protection from litigation is becoming an increasingly important part of running a successful practice, so his presentation at the conference is a must for any team.
Following Kevin will be Steve Brown, national sales manager for Dental Directory. With years of industry and sales knowledge, he will deliver a short, sharp presentation on how to ensure you are making the most of every available revenue stream.
Back by popular demand
Back by popular demand is Nigel Jones, sales director at Practice Plan. He will provide you with simple steps to create a measurement culture within your practice. Through gathering data, you will be able to make business decisions based on evidence and see how well your practice is really performing. Nigel will also talk through how to engage your whole team in the process and really take back control of your practice’s future.
After a lunch break filled with goodies, award-winning business development director of Cherrybank Dental Spa, Steve Philip, will be sharing his secret weapon – the secret of how to get new patients without spending more money. Using real examples, Steve will share low-cost marketing ideas and insights into how to make sure you are getting a return from your investments. There will be something for all practices to take away from this talk.
Krishan Joshi will be taking to the stage with his action-packed, interactive presentation on how to make sure your practice’s website is really connecting with prospective patients. Delegates will leave knowing how to convert more website visitors into phone calls, email enquiries and bookings. Krishan is the owner of Dental Focus, a company that specialises in creating websites for the dental industry. He has poured years of experience and research into this presentation to make sure you are getting the best from your website and remain connected with potential patients.
Last, but by no means least, is the host of the day, industry giant Sheila Scott. Sheila is a leading business consultant and has helped thousands of practices with many aspects of business development. At this year’s conference, Sheila will be turning her attention to people management, with a presentation called ‘Winning friends and influencing people’. After you’ve heard what Sheila has to say you will have the skills to give motivational and constructive feedback to your teams. You will also have learnt a framework for positively asking someone to change their behaviour for the better. It’s a talk not to be missed, as these are skills that can support you in creating a happy, successful team and therefore a more successful practice.
What’s more, there will also be excellent opportunities to speak with other dental management teams and share knowledge from their different experiences and perspectives.
So with a line-up that will give you some of the best dental business advice in the country, can you and your team afford to miss out on the next conference?
