The perfect patient journey
Sheila Scott and Michael Bentley are running workshops that guide participants through how to create 'The Perfect Patient Journey'. Combined, Sheila Scott and Michael Bentley have over 40 years of experience within the dental industry, and they will aim to show participants how to maximise retention and boost referrals to attract new patients.

After 2013s tour, Business of Dentistry Events have expanded the tour by adding four new dates in 2014. Tickets are now available with workshops taking place in Heathrow, Southampton, Nottingham and Exeter throughout March.
Ruth Martin from the Practice Plan Events Team explained: ‘We were bowled over by the popularity of the workshops in 2013 and so have decided to extend the event this year. After receiving so many enquiries from across the country, we selected venues in Heathrow, Southampton, Nottingham and Exeter, so that more practices can take advantage of this fantastic event. All the practices that attended last year felt they took away a lot of practical advice and gained a new insight. I’m certain that practices will feel the same this year.’
'The Perfect Patient Journey' event aims to enable practices to see the entire process through a patients’ perspective – from arrival, to their treatment, to the aftercare they receive. Sheila Scott and Michael Bentley are both staunch advocates of the patient experience believing that the customer is king. During the event, Sheila Scott and Michael Bentley will show ways practices can ensure appointment books are kept full, learn about the invaluable roles that treatment coordinators play and learn how the whole team can make the most of patient referrals.
