Honesty Dental Care in Shipley, West Yorkshire, are the 2013 winners of the BDA’s Good Practice Scheme Practice of the Year Award, it was announced this week.
More than 1,800 practices were eligible to enter for the Award with entrants asked to demonstrate how they ensure patients’ needs are at the very centre of their service. The Honesty dental team impressed the judges with their outstanding commitment to patient education and their use of new technology to secure long term oral health gains for patients.
The Award is open to all practices that are members of the BDA’s Good Practice Scheme, UK dentistry's leading quality assurance programme.
The rigorous selection process includes a judges’ visit and analysis of evidence including patient and peer testimonies.
The team will be presented with their award by BDA president Dr Barry McGonigle at a reception at BDA headquarters in December.
