The thin polyester strip is tapered from one end to the other and pre-contoured. The clinician can place the strip interproximally and then slide it until the tooth height is perfectly matched. The pre-contouring easily recreates the occlusogingival anatomy.
Varistrip incorporates Garrison’s Blue View tinting. The tinting provides excellent contrast between the matrix and tooth structure improving visualisation without compromising composite polymerisation. Varistrip is a significant improvement over traditional flat polyester matrix tape.
