Yorkshire dental practice wows business judges
The team at Perfect 32 Dental Practice in Beverley is celebrating winning the prestigious Training Business of the Year crown at the Chamber Bridlington and Wolds Business Awards on Friday 14 October.
Principal dentist, Gary Rowland, from the NHS and private practice in Ladygate, and his wife and practice manager, Nicki, attended the glitzy awards ceremony with their team at The Royal Hall, Bridlington Spa, hosted by Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce.
Perfect 32 wowed an independent panel of judges with their significant business improvement through the training and development of its workforce and beat off stiff competition from the Hull-based Gilson Hotel and Portull Training Services.
Dr Rowland said: ‘We are absolutely thrilled with our award. We are committed to the development of our team and services and believe that only the best care is delivered by the best people. Our training strategy dove-tails with our business plan and has allowed us to introduce many initiatives over the years, such as our mouth cancer screening and referral service. We would like to thank the judges and everyone at The Chamber for their support and for a wonderful evening.’
Awards organiser, Geof Humphrey of Nexus Group in Bridlington, praised Perfect 32 for its impressive win, adding: ‘Perfect 32 is an incredibly worthy winner of the training business category and I would like to congratulate them. It is the first time in our history that we have seen a business delivering health care enter the awards. That they competed with businesses from all sorts of other sectors, were able to impress the judges with their business strategies and win is terrific.’
This leading business event in the area is now in its fifth year and provides networking and innovation opportunities that add genuine value to the business community. BBC journalist and presenter Crispin Rolfe compered this year’s event. All businesses were from East Yorkshire, Hull, The Wolds, Hunmanby and Filey.
