Dental company scoops US hygienist award

Henry Schein Dental was recently presented with the Honorary Corporate Sponsorship award by the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) in recognition of the company’s dedication to the dental hygiene profession and support of the ADHA.

The award presentation took place during the 2011 Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) at the ADHA’s 88th Annual Session in Nashville, Tenn.

The ADHA’s honorary corporate membership sward is presented to companies that provide financial support in excess of $15,000 annually for programmes that empower, support, and develop dental hygienists and dental hygiene students across the United States. 

This is the 20th consecutive year that the award was presented to Henry Schein Dental.

On behalf of Henry Schein, Michele Penrose, Director of Professional Relations & Development for Henry Schein Dental, accepted the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) Honorary Corporate Membership Award, presented by Caryn Solie, RDH, President of the ADHA.

Henry Schein Dental has provided ongoing support for the student table clinics and research poster sessions held each year during the ADHA Annual Session. 

Henry Schein Dental’s co-sponsorship of this programme enables more than 50 student posters and table clinics to be entered for evaluation.
