Dental plan team gets funny for money

Denplan once again supported this year’s Comic Relief on 18 March with lots of funny fundraising antics.

Staff donated money to dress up in red for the day and many donned more extravagant and hilarious costumes.

The Red Nose Day ‘tea ladies’ went round the head office at Denplan Court selling homemade cakes and biscuits – raising more than £300 before lunch!

After a hard day of cakes and costumes, customer services manager, Neil Warren (pictured below), volunteered to be gunged – with buckets of baked beans and spaghetti being auctioned off to the highest bidder! The final amount raised by Denplan was well over £650 and plenty of fun was had along the way.

Neil Warren said: ‘Comic Relief really is a worthy charity and if I have to get a bucket of beans over my head to raise money, then so be it! Denplan’s £650 will wing its way to those people who need it most now and the fact that we had a real laugh on the day was just the cherry on the cake.’
