Benevolent Fund announces winners of Christmas draw

The BDA Benevolent Fund has announced the winners of its Christmas Draw 2009.

Andrew Carter, of Lancashire, (pictured) won the draw’s top prize of £5,000, Fiona Sims the second prize of £500 and John Mooney the third prize of £250. 

Other winners were: Jennifer Agerholm, Celia Topping, Lawrence Lidbetter, G E Wilson, H Smith, A J Hedger, Keith Morris, Jennifer Collins, J M Bowen, Luke Hunt, Julian Bone, R Cole-Morgan, Robert Robinson, Ross Macrae, Blair Gordon, Mark Inman, Susan Young, F Keetley and Philip Lang.

The Benevolent Fund, which is a registered charity, aims to help UK dentists and their families all year round whenever they are faced with difficult circumstances.

Support is given with grants and interest-free loans available to those in need.

The Fund relies on the goodwill of the dental profession to raise awareness and maintain its high profile in order to continue its hard work.
