Speaker: Bhavin Bhatt

Dr Bhavin Bhatt is one of the foremost experts in cosmetic Invisalign treatments, blending his passion for Invisalign and cosmetic smile design. As an award-winning cosmetic dentist, Bhatt's reputation is unmatched, with patients traveling from as far as Kenya, Dubai, and throughout the EU to have their smiles transformed by his skilled hands.

Born and raised in London, Bhavin graduated from The Royal London Hospital Medical College in 1999. In 2003, he completed his MFGDP with the Royal College of Physicians. With over 25 years in dentistry, Bhatt's extensive experience ensures that patients are in safe and trusted hands.

Committed to practicing truly comprehensive care, Bhatt is renowned for achieving excellent results through expert dentistry. He has attained a Masters in aesthetic dentistry with aesthetic advantage at New York University and has trained with some of the world's most talented dentists, including Larry Rosenthal. Driven by a dedication to continued education, Bhatt has spent the last 10 years studying occlusion at the John Kois Dental Academy in Seattle, where he travels twice a year. He aims to complete all nine modules and the exams, reinforcing his commitment to excellence. Bhatt founded the first-ever Kois study group in the UK, a forum for dentists to meet biannually to discuss and learn new case studies and troubleshooting techniques. He is also a senior instructor for the California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies (CCADS) in the UK, coaching other dentists on veneer preparation and aesthetic dentistry. Recognised as the world's foremost expert in iTero and Invisalign integration, Bhatt's innovative approach and dedication to patient care set him apart. He and his team adhere to the strict guidelines governing the profession under the General Dental Council (GDC) standards for dental professionals.

Speaker: Joshua Burns

Joshua grew up in Cardiff and studied there, completing his foundation training at Smart Smiles in Abercynon, South Wales, under the expert guidance of Dr May Bassett. He has since moved to London and now works in Cheshunt.

In addition to his academic achievements, Joshua was an avid rugby player and captained the Cardiff Medical School Rugby Team during the 2021-2022 season. Now retired from rugby, he enjoys playing golf in his spare time.

He has a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry and is particularly enthusiastic about digital dentistry. He enjoys using the Itero scanner and is already exploring Invisalign at this early stage of his career. Joshua currently works in a busy mixed practice, mainly NHS, and is looking to expand into private treatments.

Speaker: Deborah Rajaratnam 

Deborah began her dental career in west Wales as a vocational trainee after qualifying from Cardiff Dental School. She spent the majority of her career working within the NHS in this beautiful part of Wales, which allowed her to gain invaluable experience in delivering high-quality care under pressure.

Over the past 22 years, she has worked within the same group of five practices, treating thousands of patients, building new patient lists at some locations and taking over established ones at others.

Having transitioned to private dentistry a year ago, she now focuses on cosmetic and advanced restorative treatments. She has a special interest in using Invisalign to help patients achieve a confident smile.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two teenage children, and they love travelling to far-flung places together.
