15C ridge preservation – plan, preserve, prevent
The aim of this webinar is to understand why ridge preservation should be the status quo for extractions requiring tooth replacement.
Plan from the outset if your patient will want a tooth replacement prior to extraction.
Preserve using the 15C ridge preservation protocol.
Prevent later augmentation and implant failure.
Learning outcomes
- Understand the benefits of the 15C ridge preservation protocol in daily practice
- Understand the role of Biohorizons Mineross in this protocol
- See how keratinised tissue can be grown and pre-implant bone augmentation can be avoided
- Observe the technique and benefits through case examples.
Speaker: Imi Nasser
Imi graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2006. Following hospital posts in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry, he has been in private practice for 14 years. In 2020, he set up a multidisciplinary referral practice; Cheltenham & Cotswold Dental.
He won the 2021 & 2022 UK Aesthetic Dentistry Award for Implants and completed his MSc with Distinction in 2014. Having started placing implants in 2010, Imi has focussed on bridging the gap between implant surgery & aesthetic final restorations. He says, “Implant dentistry should always be restoratively driven and it is fundamental that all GDPs should have a good understanding of implant principles. This will always lead to superior aesthetic outcomes.”
Imi has a wealth of experience with implant surgery (immediate & delayed), and provides a referral service for patients requiring sinus grafting, vertical bone grafting, advanced bone augmentation and soft tissue augmentation procedures (connective tissue and free gingival grafts). His latest area of passion is in the teaching of ridge preservation and how it can simplify tooth replacement therapy for bridges & implants.
Imi is passionate about providing top quality dentistry and inspiring other clinicians to become the best that they can be. He is the co-creator and teacher on the dental courses; Aesthetic Prosthetic & 15c Preserve.
His mission remains to “inspire many other clinicians into the world of surgical & prosthetic implant harmony.”
