Gemma is an accomplished leader in the dental sector with nearly 20 years of experience, currently serving as the associate director of clinical liaison, relations and education UKI at Align Technology. In this role, Gemma is responsible for leading a team of field clinical liaisons and clinical educators, providing education and support to both general dentists and orthodontists, as well as managing relationships with faculty speakers.

Gemma has a background in dentistry and education, including leading multiple private practices across the UK as a CQC registered manager and area manager. Gemma holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management & Leadership and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education, strengthening her ability to lead and manage complex initiatives.

Dr Sandeep Kumar can only be described as a trailblazer in the world of Invisalign clear aligner therapy. He is one of Europe’s leading Invisalign Diamond Apex Providers and has created more than 6,000 beautiful new smiles with the Invisalign system in his private clinics.

Founder of three successful private clinic brands – MiSmile, Smile Stylist and Smmmile, the MiSmile Network and a unique ‘Mastering your Invisalign Business’ initiative, Sandeep also shares his thoughts and opinions with the wider industry and can often be found on stage speaking and training others on the opportunities the Invisalign system can harness.

Co-founder of Aligner Dental Academy, Specialist Orthodontist 

Dr Raman Aulakh is an educator and specialist orthodontist with thousands of successfully treated clear aligner cases. A passionate mentor, he has personally trained cohorts of dental practitioners and orthodontists since 2010, transforming how they integrate the Invisalign system into their practices.

As co-founder of the Aligner Dental Academy and author of SAFE Orthodontics for the General Dentist, Dr Aulakh is dedicated to raising clinical standards in clear aligner therapy. He has been a long-standing course director for the Diploma and MSc in Clear Aligner Orthodontics and a postgraduate tutor at King’s College London, shaping the next generation of aesthetic and digital dentists.

Dr Barry Buckley is a General Dental Practitioner who has personally completed over 1,500 Invisalign cases and runs Clearbraces.ie which has started 4,000 Invisalign cases. He provides both clinical and management support for the Clearbraces network supporting the GDPs who work with him. On average, each of these GDPs now submits over 100 cases each per year. He is the founder of Aligner Dental Academy which is a dedicated clinical support service for Invisalign providers. Dr Buckley is an international speaker for Align Technology for Invisalign and Invisalign Go modalities.
