Nasser Patanwala
Dr Nasser Patanwala was a clinical lecturer in restorative dentistry and head of the firm for the fifth BDS at the University of Birmingham, School of Dentistry for 16 years. He has been awarded memberships to three faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons London and has spent his early career in Boston working in oral maxillofacial surgery. He completed restorative training at the world-renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute and spent the majority of his time as owner and Clinical Lead of two well-respected dental clinics in Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield. He also sits on the undergraduate admissions panel for the University of Birmingham. As well as his work with undergraduates he lectures internationally to postgraduate students in fixed prosthodontics, adhesive and minimal intervention dentistry. Most recently he has been pursuing his keen research interest, collaborating with King’s College London to study Minimal Intervention Dentistry and was awarded a Masters Degree in Advanced Minimum Intervention Dentistry from KCL in 2021. He is a Key Opinion Leader for a number of the world's leading dental manufacturers
