Treeline Dental Care brought teams from all 15 practices together in Nottingham for its annual Growth and Development Day, combining expert training, collaboration and inspiration from Gladiators star Giant to support staff development and strengthen patient care.
Treeline Dental Care gathered teams from every practice for its annual Growth and Development Day, held on 17 July 2026 at the Jubilee Hotel in Nottingham. With a programme built around learning, collaboration and development, the event reinforced Treeline’s commitment to investing in its people and strengthening the culture that underpins its approach to modern dentistry.
Treeline Dental Care has always been a group that prioritises its people, and this year’s Growth and Development Day demonstrated that commitment in full. Bringing together staff from every Treeline site, the event created a rare opportunity for the entire organisation to learn, connect and look forward to the year ahead. From clinicians and practice managers to nurses and reception teams, the day offered a shared space for development and a renewed sense of unity across the group.

Growth and resilience
The event opened with a welcome from co‑founder Dr Jimmey Palahey, who spoke about Treeline’s continued growth and the importance of building a resilient, forward‑thinking team. This introduction set the tone for a day focused on proactive development, encouraging staff to take ownership of their learning and to contribute to the evolving identity of Treeline Dental Care, a rapidly growing dental group comprising 15 practices in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
A key strength of the Growth and Development Day was the breadth of training available. Treeline was supported by a strong line‑up of sponsors, including Henry Schein, Orascoptic, Densura, AES Dent Care, Dental Nurse Network, Denplan, vVARDIS and Dandy. Their involvement brought industry expertise directly into the room, giving teams the chance to consider new products, technologies and clinical approaches that could enhance patient care across Treeline practices.

Inspiration from Gladiators‘ Giant
One of the standout moments of the day came from guest speaker Jamie Bigg, widely known as Giant from Gladiators. Drawing on his experience in high‑performance environments, Jamie delivered a session on the importance of being proactive rather than reactive. He encouraged the team to anticipate challenges, embrace change and build habits that support long‑term success. His message resonated strongly with attendees, offering a fresh perspective on personal resilience and team dynamics within a fast‑moving dental landscape.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere reflected Treeline’s culture: warm, collaborative and energised. Staff commented on how valuable it was to come together as a whole group, particularly in a sector where busy practice schedules can make cross‑site connection difficult. Many noted that the event helped them understand the wider Treeline vision more clearly, strengthening their sense of belonging and reinforcing the shared standards that define the group’s approach to patient care.
As the event drew to a close, there was a clear sense of momentum. Treeline’s Growth and Development Day not only provided practical learning but also reaffirmed the group’s commitment to building a supportive, ambitious and united organisation. With the group continuing to expand and evolve, events like this play a vital role in ensuring that every team member feels equipped, valued and connected to the journey ahead.
