Peachzz Street Art commissioned for mural at Treeline Dental Suite Sleaford

A new mural has been unveiled at Treeline Dental Suite in Sleaford, commissioned from street artist Peachzz.

As the first signs of spring arrived, Treeline Dental Care was excited to unveil a brand new mural commissioned for an entire external wall at the Treeline Dental Suite in Sleaford. In the first week of March, Treeline’s co-founder Jimmey Palahey joined the artist, Megan (aka Peachzz Street Art) and community leaders to reveal the much anticipated mural that now flanks one wall of the new Sleaford surgery.

With a theme focused on improving overall wellbeing, this initiative has also been a way of supporting the local town of Sleaford in Lincolnshire. Engaging the local community, both in terms of oral health care but also by endorsing local artistic talent are front-and-centre priorities for Treeline.

By working with a visionary team at North Kesteven District Council, Treeline was able to bring this unique community project to life by creating a design that beautifully reflects the spirit of Sleaford. It cleverly celebrates local landmarks and pays tribute to the significance of the health and wellbeing of our local community.

The final touch

The Peachzz Street Art mural is the final touch to Treeline Dental Care’s state-of-the-art dental suite in Sleaford which incorporates a full digital workflow and design innovations. However, Treeline’s modern Sleaford practice is actually a listed building – so with this in mind, the inspirational mural had to be sure to complement the original heritage of the space. Treeline worked closely with the local district council to ensure a sympathetic approach to renovating internally and externally by employing authentic reconstruction methods.

The mural’s design process has carefully evolved over the last few months and efforts were made to ensure that artistic depictions of local flora and fauna around the River Slea were incorporated. The result is a peaceful scene which celebrates the natural beauty of the area.

‘There are lots of little nods to Sleaford in this mural’

Jimmey Palahey, co-founder of Treeline Dental, said: ‘With a vision of making a positive impact in the local community, we have been able to pay tribute to the power of street artwork by creating a striking and enduring piece of street art that will make the experience of either walking past, or even visiting the Treeline Dental Care Suite even more memorable!

‘Supporting the local community, both in terms of oral health care, but also endorsing local artistic talent are important to me and the Treeline team. I want to say a huge thank you to the fantastic team at North Kesteven District Council for their support in guiding this project to fruition. And a special tribute goes to the super-talented Megan – also known as Peachzz Street Art – for her dramatic work.

‘I am proud that together we created a design that reflects the spirit of Sleaford so well. I am also overwhelmed by the positive response we have received from the local community. Treeline feels honoured to serve the local community and I hope this mural encourages the development of more creative spaces – putting even more smiles on our community’s faces!’

Megan aka Peachzz Street Art said: ‘I always hope that viewers see my work and feel uplifted. My work is very vibrant and I try to create pieces that fit into their area. I hope that the mural encourages people to explore the natural world around them. There are lots of little nods to Sleaford in this mural. All the biodiversity in the mural is related to the River Slea and the mural includes the former windmill.’
