Leading dental supplier Dental Sky has officially opened a new eco-friendly facility designed to increase stock capacity, expand its product offerings and promote sustainable practices.
Coinciding with the family-owned company’s 25th anniversary, the move to this new building next door to its former facility in Ashford, Kent, is designed to meet the needs of customers and suppliers alike while positioning Dental Sky for future growth.
The enhanced facility means customers can access a broader selection of products, with better stock availability and an expanded range of brands and lines.
General manager Joe Earl said: ‘Our new facility significantly boosts our ability to hold more stock and offer a more comprehensive selection, ultimately benefiting customers by ensuring they have faster access to a wide variety of dental supplies.
‘Suppliers are also set to benefit from this expansion, as the larger stock capacity and increased demand for broader product lines are expected to drive more robust sales. With more inventory space, Dental Sky can now take on additional products from suppliers, contributing to mutually beneficial growth.’
Aiming to minimise environmental impact, the new facility has energy-efficient LED lighting, electric car charging stations and is shortly to have solar panels installed. New bike storage facilities have also been built to encourage employees to commute by bicycle, underscoring the company’s commitment to sustainability.
This move signifies Dental Sky’s ongoing growth and dedication to industry leadership.
The expanded space supports current operational needs and lays the groundwork for future development, cementing Dental Sky’s position in the UK’s dental supply market.
