Zirkonzahn introduces the Zirkonofen Turbo for sintering, designed for speed, efficiency and compatibility with Zirkonzahn’s materials.

No challenge is too tough, and the Zirkonofen Turbo fully proves it: the optimised electronics and the newly developed software make the furnace even more efficient, user-friendly, and ideally suited to Zirkonzahn’s materials. This further simplifies the manufacturing process of tailor-made restorations without compromising on precision and quality.
A new era begins
Thanks to the proven firing technology, the heating rates up to 150°C/min and the preset fast programs perfectly adapted to any Zirkonzahn’s zirconia, sintering with the Zirkonofen Turbo is both time and energy saving: the smaller and thinner the structure to be sintered, the shorter the required sintering time.
As a result, small zirconia structures can now be sintered in about 75 minutes, cutting processing time by 84% and reducing electric consumption by 81%. This means that small zirconia structures can be created and finished in one hour and 55 minutes only.
Furthermore, the in-house developed software has been especially redesigned and is available in several languages. Via the internet connection, the user can download and install the updates directly in the furnace, perform temperature calibrations autonomously and create individual sintering programs in addition to the already existing ones.
Based on the user behaviour, the software recognises the most frequently used programs and saves them as favourites, for an easier selection when starting a new sintering process. But that’s not all: with the new Zirkonzahn.App, the furnace can be monitored remotely, allowing for quick and easy access to all necessary information.
Cylindrical sintering chamber
Another notable feature is the cylindrical shape of the sintering chamber, with a volume of 0.9l, which ensures optimum heat distribution and a uniform sintering of all zirconia structures. Using three sintering trays stacked on top of each other or the ceramic plate, makes it possible to sinter up to 120 zirconia elements or three full arches with sintering stabiliser in just one sintering process.
For a deformation-free framework, the base of the trays should be covered with special sintering granules. In order to prevent discolouration or contamination of the zirconia bridges, it is recommended to cover them with a ceramic protection cover, which guarantees – in combination with the ceramic plate – optimal heat distribution thanks to its curved shape.
Finally, with the new Baking Recovery function, unsatisfactory sintering results are nearly impossible! After a power failure, the software checks whether the sintering program can be regularly completed without compromising the result or whether it must be suspended. If the sintering program can continue, the user can see on the screen in which phase of the program the interruption occurred. If the program cannot be completed, the software will inform the user.
