The advantages of digital dentistry are becoming ever more apparent. More and more general dentists are looking to embark on their own digital journey.

As Prof Yar says: ‘We will be going through a full digital journey for general dentists to give not just a theoretical understanding, but also a practical understanding of how digital dentistry has evolved and how dentists can implement it into their daily practice.
‘It is an innovate seminar that will take delegates from intraoral scanning using Primescan, through to the design, milling and finishing of the crown using a CEREC restorative workflow.
‘It’s effectively teaching delegates about the advantages of digital dentistry through a start-to-finish, in-house digital restoration using all the components of Dentsply Sirona’s digital solutions.’

‘The seminar will begin with a Q&A discussion about how digital dentistry has evolved and my experiences on that journey. It will be an open and frank conversation about how my journey into digital dentistry has gone, the learning curve that’s inevitably involved and why I now only use a digital workflow for my implant and restorative dentistry.
‘The day is designed to show how the technology has evolved beyond analogue and why it is time for dentists to embrace all the advantages that digital dentistry can bring.’
