Get ready for the most prestigious golf event in UK dentistry. In just over a month, FMC is hosting its 2023 UK Dentistry Golf Championship at Hadley Wood Golf Club.
It will be taking place on Monday 26 June and promises not only a remarkable round of golf on one of the country’s best courses, but also a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow dentists and dental industry professionals.
Supported by the BDIA, the event will bring 100 players together to compete for the title of UK dentistry’s golf champion.
The competition is open to anyone in dentistry, whether you’re in practice or in the industry.
And best of all, there will be a number of prizes to take home throughout the day. So even if you’re not crowned champion, you won’t have to go home empty handed.
Don’t worry if you’re not feeling confident in your swing – it’s open to all abilities! Tee off with 18 holes of golf using the Stableford scoring system – an enjoyable and fair way to play for golfers of all skill levels.
Biggest golfing event in dental history
The competition provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow dental and industry experts while enjoying a round on one of the area’s premier courses.
Hadley Wood Golf Club is located in 265 acres of tranquil parkland in Hertfordshire. You will have beautiful, far-reaching views across the countryside, accompanied by mature trees and water features.
Coffee and breakfast sandwiches will also be available for the contestants, as well as a post-round sandwich buffet reception.
‘The FMC UK Dentistry Golf Championship will be the biggest golfing event in dental history,’ said Leanna Ellis, FMC events director.

The tournament fee is just £199, which includes green fees and range balls. But if you are a Dentistry Club gold member, this fee is reduced to £149.
