Picturesque locations

Andrew Fleming, an associate dentist who recently joined the team at Clyde View Dental, in Helensburgh, loves the location and the practice: ‘Helensburgh has provided me with the opportunity to carry out more dental implant treatment.

‘The patients have been really welcoming and appreciative since I arrived in Helensburgh – which I have been extremely grateful for.

‘Helensburgh is a picturesque place to work and only a 40-minute commute for me from Glasgow where I live.’

Living and working in Scotland’s stunning landscapes is a lifestyle that many find appealing. Clyde Munro Dental Group has practices in some of the country’s most beautiful locations. This includes the Highlands and islands.

Fort William, nestled in the shadow of the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, and the Isle of Skye, with its rugged landscapes and stunning scenery, are two such locations.

The dental group provides excellent support to its dentists such as MCL Medics as our Employee Assistance Programme, ‘You Days’, enhanced family-friendly policies, a team of experienced practice managers, a central clinical and support team, opportunities and programmes dedicated to continued professional development.

Clyde Munro has a multi-million pound state of the art Advanced Dentistry and Clinical Training Centre in Perth offering a mix of free and subsidised training for the practice teams, electric vehicles at the more remote practices and highly advanced digital and AI technology available to every clinician in the group.

Clyde Munro also offers flexible working arrangements, including part-time and full-time positions, and the chance to work across multiple practices.

What dreams are made of

Bruce Duguid is an associate dentist at Roxburgh Dental Care. He started as a locum and became a full-time member of the team after he fell in love with the location and enjoyed the work.

‘I started with Clyde Munro back in September 2022, as a locum,’ he said.

‘I’d been a practice principal and then an associate in Perthshire. But I really felt like I needed a change of scenery.

‘I was asked to consider a locum position in the Borders at Roxburgh. After visiting the practice and exploring the area, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. The rest, as they say, is history.

‘I like the practice. It’s the sort of practice every practitioner dreams of, it is purpose-built, and the team are excellent. Everyone is very supportive and communications within the team are exceptional.

‘It is a high end, advanced digital practice with two scanners. There’s lots of opportunity for scanning which improves the patient experience and makes my life much easier.

‘With my 27 years of experience, I feel like I’m making a huge difference to people who need dental care the most. The Borders is a beautiful part of Scotland. There is plenty to do and see – so much so that I have relocated to the area!’

Clyde Munro Dental Group provides variety, advanced technology, investment and support to allow you to practice the type of dentistry you want in a forward-thinking work environment and in a location that gives you everything you want to enjoy out of work, on your doorstep.
